Jack Pot! Part 1

This past weekend, Teesh and I decided to do something a lil different. Instead of thrifting  at our favorite spots, we decided to hit up a couple yard sales in the area. Yard-saling (yes, that's a word) isn't my favorite thing to do, but I've heard others talk about great furniture finds they've scored  so I figured, what the heck! Plus, Teesh and I just moved to new homes and we're both looking for some great pieces to decorate with.

We visited 2 houses that were having sales. The first house was a bust, so we hopped back in the truck and moved on. We're not even sure why those people wasted there time setting up! The 2nd house...oh the 2nd house...was a thrifty yard-saling chicks dream! A mother and daughter duo, quite stylish, with a NY accent greeted us as we got out the car. Tables with household items, clothes, coats, shoes...everything dammit was there!

Of course, I migrated to the clothes...decorating my home just wasn't that important anymore. Teesh, the responsible one, focused on items for the home. People...listen to me...These -women - had - clothes! Micheal Kors, H & M, Express, Anne Klein, Old Navy, Hollister -dammit everything! And get this, the tags were still on them! All clothing was $2! All of it! Immediately I began sweating with that nervous excitement I get when  I find good deals! I started my seek and find process, all the while screaming JACK POT (in my head) every time I found something amazing! Check out my finds:

My favorite finds:

Yes, I'm going houndstooth crazy! But I couldn't resist this one! Hot pink lined houndstooth coat? Yes please! $4

Doki Geki Coat - never heard of this designer, but I did some research once I got home. This line is carried in Nordstom - that's all I needed to hear. $3 well spent!
H & M kimono...I think. Hell I don't care.  The tag that was still attached read $24.95 but I paid $2.

 Old Navy sweater $2.
Burberry scarf...I don't know if it's real - but frankly my dear, I don't give a damn! It was $1

 Zebra scarf...Ca-ute! $1
 Isaac Mizrahi Sweater $2

Tribal Maxi Dress $2

Needless to say, I will be stalking this neighborhood to stay posted on their next yard-sale! Part 2 with Teesh's finds coming soon!

Laters Divas,
