It's A Celebration!

Hey There!

Today is pretty special. Not only are we paying homage the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. -we also get to witness history being made with the Inaugural Celebration of our 57th President,  Barack Obama. Oh how I wish my family and I had joined many others who traveled to D.C. this weekend to be a part of this incredibly inspiring time!  Maybe next time, when my nephew becomes the 2nd African-American President...I'm claiming it!

Today, I think the sis was going for Michelle Obama fierce and fly. Doesn't she look First Ladyish ?? She found this super cute cardigan and skirt from one of our favorite thrift stores, Family Thrift.  Loving the detailing on the front of the cardigan and the skirt- which is Forever 21 by the way- was just the perfect style and color to compliment the look.

Hope you had a fabuless weekend! We've been having some great weather here this past week. Plus I was on vacation allllll week so, I'd be lying if I told you I'm happy it's Monday.


I've been dying to wear this floral blazer I thrifted from Goodwill a few months ago. Shes' just been chilling in my closet waiting to come out and play! I thought today would be the perfect opportunity to bring her out and hopefully remind me to take time to smell the roses...even if they're full of thorns!

I love Thrifty Thursday! I get excited when I get emails from you lovely divas sharing your fabuless finds with us! Shawneak from Charleston, SC emailed us a few of her goodies from her thrifting excursion this week...Let's just say, this girl's got skills!

Love those blazers!! Those fabuless blazers, grey sweater and pink skinny leg jeans were all purchased from the Goodwill for just $4.25! I think it's safe to say, we've found a new thrift buddy in Charleston!
