Kinda Like Thrift| Wild Wednesday!
Hi There! Wednesdays are always so exciting! Maybe it's because the weekend is right around the corner, but for some odd reason I get excited on Wednesdays. If I had to describe it - it would look kinda like my sisters' skirt she's rocking today. Just an explosion of colors and patterns. I won't even begin to explain what 5:00 on a Wednesday looks like! Let's just say...some of the best krunk music would be playing some where in the background!

Foxy Brown
Hi There!
Picture this. You're perusing the aisles of your favorite thrift store. You see a lady checking out a fabulous chocolate brown leather coat - the one you've been dying to find. You size her up knowing A) It won't fit her and B) She sooo won't do it justice. You linger... silently pray... and then plot on how to trip her up, snatch it and run when suddenly comes to her senses and puts it back on the rack! You profess your love to Jesus and move in for the kill. The leather is butter soft -just like you'd imagined. You slip her on and she fits! You check the price tag and it reads $20. She's so worth. You get to the register and it rings up $10. Sigh. That...was a good day.

We were looking through some pieces recently where she was wearing this shirt - it was oh so necessary for her to make an appearance on the blog - don't you think?

It's A Celebration!
Hey There!
Today is pretty special. Not only are we paying homage the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. -we also get to witness history being made with the Inaugural Celebration of our 57th President, Barack Obama. Oh how I wish my family and I had joined many others who traveled to D.C. this weekend to be a part of this incredibly inspiring time! Maybe next time, when my nephew becomes the 2nd African-American President...I'm claiming it!
Today, I think the sis was going for Michelle Obama fierce and fly. Doesn't she look First Ladyish ?? She found this super cute cardigan and skirt from one of our favorite thrift stores, Family Thrift. Loving the detailing on the front of the cardigan and the skirt- which is Forever 21 by the way- was just the perfect style and color to compliment the look.

Today I'd like to introduce a new segment to you guys! Kinda Like Thrift features fab finds we score from regular stores at "somewhat" thrift store prices. I mean let's face it, as much as we love Goodwill, we love the F21, Target and Old Navy's of the world too. Especially when they have an awesome sale!
Soooo, what's so fabuless about this look? Well, Charlotte Russe had a BOGO Free sale on their tops a few days after Christmas...so this pretty little top was FREE!

Salmon Meets Floral
Happy Monday Fab Divas!
Hope you had a fabuless weekend! We've been having some great weather here this past week. Plus I was on vacation allllll week so, I'd be lying if I told you I'm happy it's Monday.
I've been dying to wear this floral blazer I thrifted from Goodwill a few months ago. Shes' just been chilling in my closet waiting to come out and play! I thought today would be the perfect opportunity to bring her out and hopefully remind me to take time to smell the roses...even if they're full of thorns!
